3DRealms shutting down!

3D Realms (formerly Apogee Software), creators of such classic games as the Duke Nukem series and Wolfenstein 3D, is shutting its doors forever. Apogee Software, who re-established itself as a seperate entity sometime last year says that this will not affect them, nor the Duke Nukem series of games according to this link(3D Realms \”Situation\” Won\’t Affect Duke Nukem Trilogy, Apogee).  So what this really means is anybody’s guess. I guess we’ll know a bit more in the coming weeks.  It’s just sad to see another video game company go under.
